You mount a length of floss across the arms, floss one-handed as usual, and when the strand wears you load a fresh one — LastFloss itself keeps going.
How is this better than disposable floss picks?+
A single LastFloss replaces up to 1,000 single-use plastic picks over its life. Same convenience, far less waste.
Is it easy to reload?+
Yes. Loading a fresh strand of floss takes just a few seconds, and the floss holds taut while you use it.
What kind of floss does it use?+
LastFloss is a refillable floss handle built to work with any standard dental floss — waxed, unwaxed or tape, including the spool already in your bathroom drawer. There is no proprietary cartridge and no subscription, so you keep using floss you already like.
Is LastFloss a floss holder or a floss pick?+
It is a reusable floss holder. A disposable floss pick throws the whole plastic handle away along with the floss. LastFloss keeps the handle and you replace only the strand — same one-handed motion, fresh floss every time.
Is this an eco-friendly alternative to disposable floss picks?+
That is the whole point of it: one holder you keep, instead of up to 1,000 disposable floss picks thrown away. It is the most eco friendly, sustainable way we know to floss with ordinary dental floss. To be straight with you, we do not claim the floss itself is biodegradable — standard dental floss is nylon, and we would rather be accurate than green-sounding. What changes is that you stop binning a plastic handle every single time you floss.
