Ice is great until it melts.
You pour a good bourbon over ice and five minutes later you're drinking bourbon and water.
Party ice luges fix the cold but leave you with a slab of melting ice, a wet counter and a mold to fill the night before. We wanted the cold without the water.

The material
Why we made it in aluminum.
Aluminum moves heat about nine times faster than stainless steel. So the cold doesn't stay locked deep inside the block: the whole block goes to work on your shot as it runs the channel.
It also weighs about a third of the same block in steel, so it's easy to lift out of the freezer.
Anodized and sealed, no dye. Hand wash only.

Which spirits does it work with?
Anything you'd drink as a shot or neat: bourbon, whiskey, tequila, vodka, aquavit. It's made for straight spirits, not syrups or cream liqueurs, which would leave the channel sticky.
How long does it need in the freezer?
Put it in the freezer the day before you first use it. After that, keep it in there so it's always ready.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it under the tap, dry it and put it back in the freezer. Hand wash only.
What is it made of?
A solid block of aluminum, precision machined, anodized and sealed with no dye. The stand is stainless steel.
