Data We Collect

Identity & contact data: name, email address, delivery address, phone number
Payment information: processed securely via Shopify Payments — we do not store card details on our servers
Order data: items purchased, order history, shipping information
Browsing behaviour: pages visited, time on site, device and browser information (collected via analytics tools)

Why We Collect It

To fulfil and deliver your orders
To send order confirmations, dispatch notifications, and updates
To improve our website and product offering
For marketing communications, only with your consent, and for reminders about a checkout you started but did not finish (see Checkout reminders below)

Lawful Basis (GDPR)

Contract performance: processing your order and delivering goods
Legitimate interests: improving our services, fraud prevention, security, and, for shoppers in the United States, reminders about a checkout you started
Consent: marketing emails and non-essential cookies

Checkout reminders

When you type your email address into our checkout, we record it together with the items in your cart, even if you do not complete your order. We use this to send you reminders about that checkout and to understand where shoppers leave our checkout. If you leave without ordering, we may send you up to four emails about the items in your cart over the following ten days. The third may include a personal discount code, and the fourth reminds you the day before that code expires. In the United States we send these reminders on the basis of our legitimate interest in helping you complete a purchase you started. Everywhere else we only send them if you have signed up to hear from us. Every reminder has an unsubscribe link, and the reminders stop as soon as you order or unsubscribe. If you started checkouts for more than one of our products, you only ever receive reminders about one of them at a time.

Third Parties

We share data only as necessary with:

Shopify — e-commerce platform (data processor)
Payment processors — to handle secure payment transactions
Shipping carriers — to deliver your order
Email marketing platforms — for newsletters and order communications (with consent)
Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which sends our emails, including checkout reminders
Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising and measuring our ads, only where you have accepted marketing cookies
Google, for site analytics and advertising measurement, only where you have accepted the relevant cookies
Vercel and Upstash (United States), which host the service that records checkout emails and decides when a checkout reminder is due. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data Retention

Order data is retained for 5 years to meet Danish accounting and legal obligations
Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent
A checkout email and cart that did not become an order are deleted after 45 days.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Rectification of inaccurate data
Erasure (right to be forgotten) where applicable
Data portability in a machine-readable format
Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for marketing

We use cookies that are needed for the shop to work, such as your cart, and, with your permission, cookies for analytics and marketing. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are asked for their choice in a cookie banner before any analytics or marketing cookies are set. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which shows the banner again, or by writing to us. Everywhere else you can manage cookies through your browser settings.
