How the box is built
Battery life, speaker connections and Bluetooth — three things you actually use, called out clearly.

Better Objects
We kept meeting people with great passive speakers going silent — a pair of inherited floor-standers gathering dust, a vintage bookshelf speaker never connected to anything. The technology to revive them existed, but nothing was portable, simple, and worth owning long-term.
SoundUp is our answer: one box that gives any passive speaker a battery, Bluetooth, and real power. No disposable speaker to replace. No wall socket required. Just the speaker you already love, made wireless.
Built by LastObject

Optional add-on
Expand how you use SoundUp. The accessory kit includes carry handles for portability, a wall bracket for fixed installs, and protective corner covers.

SoundUp works with any passive speaker rated at 3–8 ohms — bookshelf speakers, floor-standers, vintage hi-fi cabinets, and most standard home speakers. If your speaker has bare wire or banana plug terminals and no built-in amplifier, SoundUp can power it.
Up to 40 hours at moderate volume. At maximum volume, expect around 7 hours. The 108 Wh lithium-ion battery takes approximately 7–8 hours to fully charge from flat.
