Pre-order details
LastFloss is in active development. The concept, core design, and product direction are defined. We are finalising materials, tooling, and packaging before moving into manufacturing.
Estimated shipping: January 2027. This page is always updated with the latest timeline.
Why LastFloss exists
One flosser. Not up to 1,000 floss picks.
Plastic floss picks are designed to be used once and thrown away. A single daily flosser can go through up to 1,000 of them — a small piece of plastic each time, gone in seconds, lasting for centuries in landfill.
LastFloss is the reusable floss holder that replaces the disposable ones for good — a refillable handle you thread with ordinary dental floss.
- Less single-use plastic.
- No fiddly string around your fingers.
- No compromise on a comfortable, proper floss.
What makes it work
Everything you like about a floss pick — made to last.
Reloading it
How you load the floss.
It works with any standard dental floss: waxed, unwaxed, or tape. No cartridge, no subscription, and no special refill to buy.
This clip has sound.
In short: pull a length of floss from any spool, mount it across the arms, and tighten the collar to hold it taut. When the strand wears, swap in a fresh one. The flosser itself keeps going.
What LastFloss does
A comfortable, proper floss — that you reload instead of throw away.
BENEFITS
- —Replace up to 1,000 single-use picks with one
- —Cut daily plastic waste from your routine
- —Floss one-handed, the easy way, every time
FEATURES
- —Load a fresh strand of floss in seconds
- —Comfortable, ergonomic handle
- —Compact travel case keeps it clean on the go
The same easy one-handed flossing you know, without the pile of plastic picks behind it.
The real difference
Less plastic. Same clean feeling.
Disposable floss picks make a daily habit feel wasteful — a little piece of plastic in the bin every single night. LastFloss keeps the part you like, the quick one-handed floss, and quietly removes the part you don't. Reload it, rinse it, and use it again tomorrow.
Who it is for
Made for anyone who flosses and hates the waste.
Daily flossers
Keep the one-handed convenience you already rely on, without the daily plastic.
Low-waste homes
Cut one more single-use plastic out of the bathroom for good.
On the go
Slip the cased flosser into a bag or pocket for travel, the office, or after lunch.
String-floss avoiders
Get proper reach without wrapping string around your fingers.
Gifting
An easy, useful switch to give the people who are trying to waste less.

Frequently asked questions
Is LastFloss shipping now?+
No. LastFloss is currently a pre-sale product in the sourcing stage. Estimated shipping is January 2027. This page is always updated with the latest timeline.
How does it work?+
You mount a length of floss across the arms, floss one-handed as usual, and when the strand wears you load a fresh one — LastFloss itself keeps going.
How is this better than disposable floss picks?+
A single LastFloss replaces up to 1,000 single-use plastic picks over its life. Same convenience, far less single-use plastic.
Is it easy to reload?+
Yes. Loading a fresh strand of floss takes just a few seconds, and the floss holds taut while you use it.
What kind of floss does it use?+
LastFloss is a refillable floss handle built to work with any standard dental floss — waxed, unwaxed or tape, including the spool already in your bathroom drawer. There is no proprietary cartridge and no subscription, so you keep using floss you already like.
Is LastFloss a floss holder or a floss pick?+
It is a reusable floss holder. A disposable floss pick throws the whole plastic handle away along with the floss. LastFloss keeps the handle and you replace only the strand — same one-handed motion, fresh floss every time.
Does LastFloss mean less plastic waste?+
That is the whole point of it: one handle you keep, instead of up to 1,000 plastic floss picks thrown away. Far less single-use plastic. To be straight with you, the floss itself is standard nylon, so you still replace the strand, and we do not claim it is biodegradable. What changes is that you stop binning a plastic handle every single time you floss.
Does it come with a case?+
Yes. Every LastFloss includes a slim travel case to keep it clean and protected at home or on the go.
What is the early-bird price?+
The early-bird pre-sale price is 31% below the expected retail price, and it applies for the duration of the pre-sale. The exact price is shown in your local currency on this page.
When does the early-bird price end?+
The early-bird price runs until production finishes and orders go out by sea freight, currently expected in January 2027, with delivery estimated for February 2027. After that, LastFloss sells at its launch price ($29.00). If the timeline moves, this date moves with it. This page is always updated with the latest timeline.
Can I cancel my pre-order?+
Yes. You can cancel for a full refund any time before your order ships. Just email hello@better-objects.com. Once it has shipped, pre-orders can't be returned for a change of mind, except where the law gives you that right: customers in the EU, EEA and UK can withdraw within 14 days of receiving their order. Faulty or wrong items are always replaced or refunded.
How does multi-pack pricing work?+
Choose 1, 2, or 3 on the product page. The 2-pack saves 15% and the 3-pack saves 20% — the discount is applied automatically in your cart.
What does 'Product stage: Sourcing' mean?+
It means the concept and product direction are defined, and we are finalising materials, tooling, production costs and timelines.
Is there a warranty?+
Yes. LastFloss includes a 24-month warranty covering manufacturing defects.
Will the final product change?+
Some final details may change during sourcing and manufacturing, including materials, packaging, or small usability improvements.
Has your team shipped crowdfunded products before?+
Yes — LastObject has shipped 7 funded campaigns to more than 60,000 backers across over 40 countries.
